Who are you?

Michael: “Who we are, hmmm … We are, as some people already know, Soft drink company Denmark. We are a small progressive company with three owners, but we have, despite our size, grand visions and dreams … every great thing, starts with great visions and dreams.

We are the new generation’s energy drink manufacturer and we focus on quality and health, rather than cheap content with artificial ingredients. It is 100% pure and natural drinks that not only provides energy here and now but also in the long run, but it does not contain harmful stimulants”

How did you come to create a healthy energy drink?

Frank: “It’s been quite an evolution… mostly because there have been some external factors that slow down the development.

For me it has been all my travels around the world for the most part… and then lack of money. On the other hand I’ve had plenty of time to think and experiment with the recipe. Believe it or not, it has been subjected to more than 100 modifications.

The reason I wanted to create a healthy energy drink was because I’ve always been very conscious of what I eat and drink. I stay away from refined sugars and always strive to feed myself in the most natural and organic way possible. I even love to cook and I am a great fan of fruit shakes, smoothies and I’m always looking out for healthy unusual products.
But most of the healthy drinks I’ve tasted are very plain or were unauthentic about their content.
Eventually, I figured I could substitute my daily sugar intake with honey.
I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome and thought to myself it was a super idea for healthier and more natural products.
So I started bringing my own jar of honey everywhere.

One day it struck me that it was about time to create a healthy power booster of some sort … Then things just started flowing downhill like an avalanche.”

Michael: “Yes, like everything else in your life… hahaha.

No, Frank is the creative part and the man behind the idea. I have the ‘drive’ Frank lacks. I will run like mad and not rest, until I have achieved what I had intended. I have a background in the transport-logistics industry, so stress has always been a big part of my life… and stress is something you don’t know anything about Frankie-Boy hehehe… Good you have me!!

No, in all fairness we’ve both worked very hard in this project. We both have very different ideas and areas of expertise.
I don’t have the patience nor the talent to create things out of thin air using paper, pens or even Photoshop. I need something more substantial, otherwise I get bored to death.

Frank and I met by coincidence through a mutual friend and became friends right away. We soon realized that his ideas and my visions could make up a pretty good team.

Frank: “The truth is I actually felt very sorry for you having no friends. That’s why I stuck around and not because I liked you… HAHAHA.
No, Michael had the vision to see that my ideas could be used to create something great! Afterwards, we bounced a few ideas off each other and our project started taking its own shape… it also helped that he has more money than I do.”

Do you always have this much fun together?

Frank: “Yes, we do actually.
There have only been a few times where we’ve been getting tired of each other or times where I’ve been tired of Michael. It is whenever he doesn’t sleep well and I have to deal with his crankiness the whole day … HEHEHE.
To be completely honest, there obviously have been times where we’ve been under a lot of stress and when everything seemed black. There have been times where we’ve been just about to ‘call it quits’, but our sense of humour and the fun we make of each other has kept us going.”

Michael: “Whenever I don’t sleep well… I never sleep. I have a NAP instead … HAHAHA.
No, Frank is right. I do not sleep enough when I’m committed to a project and of course tensions can rise between people when you work long hours together. I believe it’s healthy to ‘vent’ things out once in a while and so we don’t loose focus on the things we need to get done. You must take advantage of the good times and work through the tougher ones.

Working with Frank is easy though. Especially when he gets one of his wacky ideas and just makes it a fun environment to work in, no matter what mood you’re in.”

This reminds me… Let’s rewind just a little bit. Where are number 3? You said in the beginning, Michael, there was ‘third one’ of you.

Michael: “Did I?”

Frank: “What are you talking about?? You must have heard wrong… HAHAHA.

Exactly! Why exactly is he so mysterious?

Michael: “He is very shy.”

Frank: “Yes, I’ve heard he does not like to have pictures taken. There’s also something going on with his ear, I’ve been told, but I’m not sure what it is.”

Michael: “Let’s call him ‘Mister X’, or perhaps just Bob.”

Frank: “Yes, that was a damn good idea – …’Mister X’… Bob is already taken by ‘Bob the Builder’, sooo… ‘Mister X’ is perfect …

Michael: To answer your question, the third partner is silentpartner.

What about the future? Will there be more healthy products?

Frank: “Definitely… going back to using artificial and unhealthy ingredients would be ignoring the areas in which we have already take steps forward. The next 3 drinks are already on paper, 4, 5 and 6 are inside my head ….”

Michael: “There is nothing inside your head… stop showing off… HAHAHA ..

No, seriously we already have many ideas for the future, from designs to new outrageous flavors! There is no reason why a drink can’t be energizing and healthy at the same time. It’s all a matter of trying out new ideas!”

Frank: “We expect the next series of drink to be on the market by summer 2012.
Naturally, it will also be a 100% pure and healthy energy drinks with using only innovative natural ingredients

What is your vision?

Michael: “We have a global perspective and our vision is to reach as many countries as possible. In other words we are going worldwide.”

Frank: “Yes, my vision is to see a can of NAP in all coolers, in all countries, in all languages… My dream is to give all people an opportunity to choose a healthy drink that will boost up their energy as well.”
